Throughout all the books of the gospel, we see that Jesus did not attempt to bring new believers to the synagogue. Instead, He went to where the people in need already were. Following this example we began meeting on Wednesday evenings for six weeks at the Devine Cafe in the Antrim Road and called it The Devine Exchange. The owner of this establishment graciously opened the doors for us to bring live, soothing Christian music. While customers came in for a bite to eat or coffee, our team in partnership with Crown Jesus Ministries, served as MC, shared testimonies, and a brief message from the Bible. Many people lingered behind to speak to us, ask questions and share their prayer requests.
This successful turnout has opened another door of opportunity for us by way of the Alpha Courses. We are training to hold these discipling classes by partnering with Carnmoney Presbyterian Church Alpha Ministries They are currently holding Alpha courses at the Black Box Belfast. This is a time where many questions are explored. Where newborns in Christ  learn to incorporate following Jesus into their daily living. The Living Room Belfast team will be having Alpha Courses starting this Easter at The Devine Cafe. Looking forward to seeing some of our old friends as well as new faces. Other meetings, such as the Gospel Community Groups are still in the planning stages.
